Fourth Summer School for Psychologists at Adam Mickiewicz University

At the end of September, students of the Faculty of Psychology and Special Education took part in the fourth summer school at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland), which combined study, research and cultural exchange. Before the trip, future psychologists took an intensive Polish language course.

This important stage of international cooperation in the training of psychologists and teachers took place with the support of the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences, Professor Mariusz Urbanski, and the Head of the Laboratory, Dr. Agnieszka Nowik, of the Adam Mickiewicz University.

The summer school program included scientific presentations, trainings on the development of communicative and professional competencies, a visit to a center for people with visual impairments, as well as active interpersonal and intercultural communication with Polish students and teachers.

Of particular value was the introduction to innovative approaches to psychological and pedagogical support for people with special needs, which are being implemented in the educational environment of Poland.

The training was held jointly with representatives of the Mykhailo Drahomanov Ukrainian State University and the Lesia Ukrainka Volyn National University, which contributed to the expansion of academic partnership, exchange of experience and the formation of joint scientific initiatives.
