On April 21, 2018 the Faculty of Applied Mathematics of Oles Honchar Dnipro National University held the 1-st Stage of All-Ukrainian Collegiate Programming Contest (AUCPC) which is 1/8 of the ACM ICPC World’s Final.

On the 16th of April, test launches of student rocket were carried out at the Pavlograd Mechanical Plant. Student rocket is being developed to the 100th anniversary of Oles Honchar Dnipro National University in cooperation with the Public Organization “Noosphere Association”.

On the 27th-28th of March the International Forum "New Silk Way" was held in Beijing (China). The participants were representatives of educational establishments from different countries of the world. At this forum Ukraine was represented by Oles Honchar Dnipro National University and Lviv Polytechnic National University.

Literary meetings for foreign students "My acquaintance with Oles Honchar" were hold in the academic library of Oles Honchar Dnipro National University. The meetings dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the outstanding Ukrainian writer, graduate of DNU.

The traineeship of Ibrahim Muradov, graduate student of Middle East Technical University (Ankara, Turkey) has already completed in Oles Honchar Dnipro National University.
