The company UNIRANKS Inc. USA presented the results of the international university ranking UNIRANKS 2026, which researchers position as student-oriented. In the national table, Oles Honchar Dnipro National University entered the TOP 10 among the verified 237 Ukrainian higher education institutions – universities that have been validated through authoritative academic data sources and performance indicators.
DNU became the only representative of the Dnipro regional higher education institutions in the top 10 in Ukraine. In addition, two more institutions from our region took the leading positions in the ranking – National Technical University “Dnipro Polytechnic” – the 11th place and Kryvyi Rih National University – the 33rd place.
In addition to the national leaders, the rating additionally highlighted 23 of the best regional institutions of Ukraine, demonstrating high efficiency and international presence, and one received the prestigious status of an elite university.
In total, in 2026, the ranking on the official UNIRANKS platform covered 37,449 universities in the world, distributed according to various categories:
