Staff Training Week at the University of Wroclaw

From May 19 to 23, the 13th International Academic Staff Training Week under the Erasmus+ program was held at the University of Wroclaw (Poland), during which representatives of over 25 universities from Europe, Africa, Asia and America met. From Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, the dean of the Faculty of Medical Technologies of Diagnosis and Rehabilitation, Professor Olga Voronkova, and Associate Professor of the Department of Social Work and Management of Social Processes Alina Solnyshkina took part in the workshops. Participants came from Vietnam, Ghana, Spain, Germany, Lithuania, France, Chile, Scotland. Ukraine was represented by seven universities from Kyiv, Dnipro, Lviv, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi and Drohobych.

The program offered by the University of Wroclaw was very rich. Each institution had the opportunity to present itself, its educational programs, talk about the areas of scientific work, and provide proposals for possible cooperation. The workshops paid attention to the methods of forming research teams, the rules of high-quality communication between participants, finding understanding, and approaches to motivation. The features of small projects for academic mobility were separately considered, which do not require long-term trips to other countries, but at the same time allow scientists and students to implement international academic mobility and discover the world for themselves.

To overcome fears of an unfamiliar language environment, a master class in Polish was offered by the Faculty of Modern Languages, namely the Center for the Study of Polish for Foreigners, where everyone was convinced that a new language is not an obstacle to communication, but an interesting experience. Separately, scheduled meetings were held with representatives of various faculties of the University of Wrocław, where narrower issues of interaction were discussed.
