The 18th academic ranking of higher education institutions of Ukraine “Top-200 Ukraine 2025” was published on the “Euroosvita” portal. This year, Oles Honchar Dnipro National University with a total index of HEIs of 14.41 took 13th place in Ukraine, improving its result by three positions compared to last year.
The 2025 ranking traditionally included 200 universities in Ukraine. A comprehensive assessment of their activities was based on a multi-criteria approach a multi-criteria approach – a set of 10 rating (6 international and 4 national) indicators and their weighting factors.
According to 6 indicators, DNU is the leader of regional Dnipro HEIs:
• Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings – 2nd place in Ukraine (index – 0.30);
• Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings – 7th place (index – 1.5) – equal with the National Technical University of Ukraine “Dnipro Polytechnic”;
• National ranking by the number of patents received – 17th place (index – 0.935)
• National ranking by the number of winners of scientific competitions – 18th place (index – 0.99);
• Scopus SciVerse (Scopus) – 18th place (index – 2.34);
• Arithmetic average of ranking places by applications of applicants and average competitive score – rating 44.5, index – 2.448.
