Staff Week under the Erasmus+ Program in Italy, Estonia and the Czech Republic
Over the past few weeks, the teachers and staff of DNU have been actively involved in the implementation of the EU Erasmus+ exchange program. Universities in Italy, Estonia and the Czech Republic have hospitably received our specialists as part of the annual traditional staff week format. DNU has concluded long-term cooperation agreements with these European universities, in particular in the field of academic mobility.
Professor Andriі Dreus, Head of the Department of Aerohydromechanics and Energy and Mass Transfer of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, gave lectures at the School of Aerospace Engineering of the Sapienza University of Rome. For 5 days, our scientist got acquainted with the laboratories of the School of Aerospace Engineering, discussed scientific achievements and educational programs with Italian colleagues, and presented cases from the experience of DNU in the field of aerodynamics and high-temperature technology to students and scientists.

Specialists of the Faculty of Physics, Electronics and Computer Systems visited Charles University in Prague. Professor Oleg Drobakhin introduced the Czech colleagues to approaches to digital processing of experimental data, in particular, he gave lectures to students on the possibilities of digital parametric spectral analysis and fractional-rational approximation, developed at the Department of Applied Radiophysics, Electronics and Nanomaterials of DNU. Associate Professor of this department Oleksandr Lyashkov took part in trainings at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University and at the Institute of Elementary Particle and Nuclear Physics. Leading Research Fellow of the Research Institute of Energy-Efficient Technologies and Materials Science Anna Dyachenko and Head of the Training Laboratory of the Department of Experimental and Theoretical Physics Mykhailo Koptev mastered methods of studying the structure of materials, in particular, illumination electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction. With the help of these methods, they obtained new information about the chemical composition, concentration of major elements and impurities, as well as features of the crystal structure for a series of samples.
