Webometrics 2026: DNU is the Leader of the Webspace among Dnipro HEIs

According to the results of the ranking by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in the international ranking of world universities Webometrics Ranking of World’s Universities 2026, Oles Honchar Dnipro National University took the 16th place in Ukraine and is the leader of higher education institutions in the Dnipro region.

In particular, the first place among HEIs of the Dnipropetrovsk region and the 16th place in the general list of 290 Ukrainian HEIs brought DNU the following indicators: impact rating (Impact Rank) – 6484, openness rating (Openess Rank) – 2250, excellence rating (Excellence Rank) – 4381. With these results, our university is at the 3742nd place in the world.

In total, the prestigious 2026 ranking list from Cybermetrics Lab included almost 32,000 educational institutions from over 200 countries around the world, demonstrating competitiveness at the global level. All of them were analyzed by digital presence (reflection of activity in the web space), global visibility and academic influence. After all, the growth of high-quality digital content, open electronic publications and scientific communication is now one of the key factors of success in the world.

Thus, the ranking professionally assessed the web indicators of 290 Ukrainian national higher education institutions. The TOP-5 best universities in the Dnipropetrovsk region according to the international webometric ranking are:

• Oles Honchar Dnipro National University – 16th place in Ukraine;
• National Technical University “Dnipro Polytechnic” – 19th place;
• Kryvyi Rih National University – 69th place;
• Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs – 77th place;
• Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology – 83rd place.
