Student of DNU is a Norwegian Cup Rowing Champion
In November, Oslo (Norway) hosted the EDBF Norwegian Cup rowing competition on boats “Dragon”, where the participant of the Ukrainian team (U24) was Dmytro Smirnov-Venislavsky, a third-year student of the Faculty of Physics, Electronics and Computer Systems of DNU. As part of the national team, the student won the 1st place overall.
This is the first performance of the Ukrainian team on boats “Dragon” at competitions in Norway. The U24 team once again confirmed: Ukraine is the strongest team in Europe!

Currently, our champion athlete, as part of the Dnipro club “Long Sprint” and the Ukrainian national team, is actively preparing for the 2026 season.
