The Gold Cup of Ukraine: Angelina Filipchuk Shines at International Dance Open Vinnytsia 2025

On November 23, the prestigious International Dance Open Ukraine Vinnytsia 2025 took place at the Knockout Sports Complex in Vinnytsia, an open international dance tournament organized by the All-Ukrainian Cheerleading and Cheer Sports Federation (VFC).

 

This event brought together talented athletes from all over Ukraine, who competed in various categories (20+), including Cheer Dance, Acro Dance, Fitness Dance, Fit Kids and others. Participants took part in solos, duets, groups and formations. The tournament became a real celebration of grace, strength and artistry, where artists demonstrated their skills in the Amateur and Professional Leagues in age categories from Baby (3–5 years) to Senior 2 (30+).

Oles Honchar Dnipro National University was worthily represented by a 4th-year student of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, captain of the DNU cheerleading and cheer sports team — Angelina Filipchuk. In a tense fight in the Cheer Dance Solo nomination, she took the 1st place — won gold and became the winner of the Ukrainian Cup! This is another triumph for Angelina, who is already the champion of the Dnipropetrovsk region, the Ukrainian Cup, the Ukrainian and world champion in cheerleading and cheer sports. Her performance became an example of perfect technique, emotional expression and energy, which enchanted the judges and spectators.

Angelina Filipchuk is not just a talented athlete, but also an active student who skillfully balances between study and intensive training. Her victory at the Cup of Ukraine is proof that anything is possible at Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, including the successful combination of science and sports at the highest level.
