DNU Student is a Bronze Medalist of the European Championship in Marine All-Around Events

A second-year student of the Faculty of Medical Technologies of Diagnostics and Rehabilitation of DNU, Ivan Nazarenko, took an honorable third place at the European Championship in Marine All-Around Events, which was held on October 15-19 in the city of Nikiti (Greece).

A student of group RR-24-2 of the Department of Physical Education and Sports won a bronze medal in the rowing competitions on dry land among men, women and war veterans – category “Military”, distance 500 m.

The tournament under the bright sun of the Aegean Sea became a real celebration of strength, spirit and unity! After all, this second European Rowing Championship brought together teams from 8 countries, including veteran crews from Ukraine. Our veteran athletes proved: the indomitability of Ukrainians is felt even in the waves of the Aegean Sea!

The powerful representation of our national team in Greece was made possible thanks to the support of the NGO “Federation of Marine All-Around Events of Ukraine”, the sports organization N.O.MA.Θ and the project “Ukrainians in Greece” with the assistance of the Consulate of Ukraine in Thessaloniki and the philanthropist Dmytro Patrych.
