International Week-2025 at the Mittweida University of Applied Sciences

The delegation of Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, led by Rector Sergiy Okovytyy, is participating in the International Week-2025 at the Mittweida University of Applied Sciences.

This year the University of Mittweida has united 45 educational and scientific institutions and business structures from 17 countries around the world, creating a powerful platform for building effective international partnerships.

 

“Integrated Internationalization: Artificial Intelligence as a Tool” is the leitmotif of the forum, in which the Rector, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Sergiy Okovytyy, Acting Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work in the Field of International Cooperation, Associate Professor Viktor Gasso, and Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor of the Department of Marketing and International Management, Oleksii Dzhusov, participate. Students, university leaders and research groups from 28 partner universities also joined the International Week.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, German partners from Mittweida have collected and delivered to Ukraine several trucks of functional beds and hospital equipment, medicines and medical equipment for wounded military and civilians.

In this context, one of the directions of internationalization announced at the forum is considered particularly relevant - the international Third Mission of Universities. In addition to integrating international cooperation into teaching and research activities, colleagues discussed directing efforts to solve social problems at various levels, in particular in the entrepreneurial and social dimensions.

 

Participants in the international platform share experience in this area and develop partnerships for the sustainable development of their universities and countries.
