Ukrainian National H-index Ranking: DNU is in the TOP-20 in Ukraine

The Ukrainian National H-index Ranking has been published according to the data of the II quarter of 2025. In the general ranking of higher education institutions of Ukraine according to the National H-index 2025 (National Hirsch Index), Oles Honchar Dnipro National University entered the TOP-20 of Ukrainian HEIs and took 2nd place among regional HEIs. In particular, in the integrated ranking of universities of Ukraine according to the National H-index 2025 indicator, DNU received a generated National H-index of 51, in Scopus H-index – 55, in Web of Science – 54, in Google Scholar – 87, which allowed it to take 18th position in the country. A total of 168 national HEIs were submitted for the ranking. The total H-index and its indicators in the indicated scientometric databases brought our university 2nd place among local HEIs. Thus, the top five in the Dnipro region, in addition to DNU, included: 1st place – Dnipro State Medical University (National H-index – 61) – 12th place in Ukraine; 3rd place – National Technical University “Dnipro Polytechnic” (National H-index – 40) – 29th place in Ukraine; 4th place – Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology (National H-index – 39) – 33rd place in Ukraine and 5th place – Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University (National H-index – 34) – 43rd place in Ukraine.
