DNU Student is the World Cheerleading Champion

From May 6 to 11, the Croatian capital Zagreb became the epicenter of the World Cheerleading and Cheer Sports Championship WORLD FINALE ZAGREB 2025. On May 9, Angelina Filipchuk, a student of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, won a brilliant victory, becoming the world champion in the Cheer Dance Solo Senior category!

The great event WORLD FINALE ZAGREB 2025 brought together hundreds of the most talented dancers from different parts of the world, including Ukraine, South Africa, Croatia, Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Austria, Norway and other countries. The organization of the tournament was at the highest level: a clear schedule, professional judging and a warm atmosphere contributed to the fact that each athlete could reveal their potential. In the championship, which was held under the auspices of international organizations, participants competed in numerous categories, demonstrating a variety of styles and cultures, where each act was striking in its uniqueness.

The representative of Ukraine, Angelina Filipchuk, took to the stage and competed with the best cheerleaders in the world! Her performance was a real highlight of the competition!

The DNU student showed unsurpassed skill, grace, and charisma. The judges and spectators were impressed by her perfect technique, emotional depth, and vivid performance. All this brought our athlete the highest award - first place in the world!

We also congratulate her coach, Anna Volodymyrivna Lopuga, senior lecturer at the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Faculty of Medical Technologies of Diagnostics and Rehabilitation, on her great success. Special thanks to the dean of the faculty, Olga Serhiivna Voronkova, for her invaluable assistance in organizing the trip to the championship.

The victory of Angelina Filipchuk and Anna Volodymyrivna at the WORLD FINALE ZAGREB 2025 is not only a triumph, but also a source of pride for all of Ukraine.
