DNU is among the Leaders of Ukraine in THE World University Rankings 2024

On September 27, 2023, the next edition of the ranking of the best universities in the world according to the British journal Times Higher Education – World University Rankings 2024 was published. For the third year in a row, Oles Honchar Dnipro National University confidently is on the fourth position in the national ranking table and is the only representative of regional Dnipro universities in the list.

In total, 14 higher education institutions were included in the ranking of the best Ukrainian universities, and another 27 institutions that provided their information but were not included in the ranking received the status of “reporter”. In the general list of the world universities, our university is traditionally located in the group 1201+.

In total, this year's Times Higher Education World University Rankings analyzed more than 121 million citations from more than 15.5 million academic publications and included responses to a survey of 40,000 scientists from around the world. In total, more than 680,000 different data points were collected from more than 1,904 institutions in 108 countries and regions.

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings is one of the most influential rankings for assessing the activities and achievements of universities in the world, which allows to analyze the strengths of educational institutions and focus on increasing the efficiency of their work. The results of the Times International University Ranking have been published annually since the autumn of 2010. Each higher education institution is evaluated using 13 performance indicators based on four main metrics: teaching, research, giving of knowledge, and international perspectives.
