The Student of DNU is the Champion of the European Rowing Cup Stage
On June 22-26, 12 club teams from Serbia, Great Britain, Romania, Israel, Moldova, Hungary, Italy and Ukraine took part in the competitions on the Ada Ciganlija Lake in Belgrade (Serbia). Dmytro Smirnov-Venislavskyi, a first-year student of the Faculty of Physics, Electronics and Computer Systems of the Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, participated in the LONG SPRINT DNIPRO team (group KS-22-1, speciality 122 Computer Science).
By the way, Dmytro is a member of the Ukrainian national rowing team "Dragon" and has repeatedly won various championships.
As a member of the team, the student of DNU won two gold medals at the distances of 200 and 500 meters in the mixed class and became the champion of the European Cup stage.
Valerii Morgun, President of the Dragon Boat Federation of Ukraine and Vice President of the European Dragon Boat Federation (EDBF), congratulated the Dnipro rower on his victory, as he was attending the EDBF conference in Belgrade at the time.
