Basic directions of scientific activity of the department of physics of solid body and optic electronics is growing and synthesis of crystals of active dielectrics and optical environments for the necessities of functional electronics, photonics and optical informatics. Most technological developments are protected by patents and possess the elements of “know-how”. Complex studies of characteristics of the obtained materials are held by means of modern spectroscopy at the department.
